Echoes of Marigold
Gameplay Programmer
Case study →Movement, cameras, combat, AI. I build the systems that decide how a game plays, and I teach other people to build them too.
How I teach →
An in-progress Unity FPS about split-second target discrimination under pressure. Scoped deliberately to a demo.
A 2D Metroidvania built in Unity. Winner of Best Game Art Direction at the UAE Game Makers Competition 2025.
A 3D action-thriller built in Unreal Engine 5 by a team of three. Ranked first in cohort.
I mentor at two levels: graduate students through a structured Unity curriculum, and high-school teams building their own games in Endstar Engine and Godot, each cohort ending in a pitch and a playable prototype.
Teaching game development →
A Cinemachine camera with dynamic Y-axis damping, trigger-based panning, and seamless directional swaps.
Player movement built on a 2D Blend Tree across idle, jump, mid-air, fall, and landing, with synchronised animation.
Real-time motion warping that fits parkour animations to the geometry the player is actually traversing.
