Not every project is worth finishing, and this one wasn’t.
A four-person team, a 3D Viking-themed fighter, and about a month of work before I left it. The rest of the team dropped it shortly afterwards.
What I actually built
Basic enemy AI — NavMesh navigation setup, and not much beyond that. It was early enough that nothing had cohered into a game yet.
Why it’s here
Because a portfolio that only lists successes isn’t a record of how you work, it’s a highlight reel. Between 2020 and 2022 I built a lot of prototypes that went nowhere, and the useful skill I took from that period was recognising sooner when something wasn’t going to come together.
That said, this one is deliberately marked as excluded from my CV. A month of NavMesh setup on an abandoned concept isn’t a credential — it’s context.
